AskMeTooFast
I'm uninstalling and re installing. I want the shop on a sub-domain. But when things 1st start up is it sopose to look like the demo? with the clothes and stuff? and then you just go in and delete and change all the products right? oh and if i put on sub-domain it won't touch main page right ? NemoPS
Yes, it will look like the demo, you have to erase products manually And yeah, nothing will be touched in the original one (just make sure you hook it up to another database)
AskMeTooFast
Thank You! It was showing by this morning on the SubSub-domain . I'm sorry but what does this mean "(just make sure you hook it up to another database)"?I was thinking I can have www.mydomain.com as my Main Page. Then have a button, link, or image when touched will send them to the ( www.store1.mydomain.com ) shopping cart store front. So that later if i wish to branch out to a different venue of products I can have ( www.store2.mydomain.com ) shopping cart store front 2. Also before I scrapped everything and started over and put it on the sub-domain I was having issues signing in to the Admin URL. I was getting either no employee message or where the page would refresh & i would need to enter email and password again. After many attempts, I gave up. So I redid everything and put on sub-domain. Now I'm having the same issue with the sub-domain. Where Admin URL just refreshes.I created the email: [email protected] on my C-panel after I scrapped everything but before I put the shopping cart store on the sub-domain. and I had the "New Installation of PrestaShop" proof notice sent to my personal gmail account.I got the proof notice at my personal gmail account.I haven't gotten any emails to my sub-domain email yet? how long might this take to be able to enter the sub-domain's Admin URL? or did I mess up some where again?*~* Thank You *~* So Much For Your Help Edited September 10, 2014 by AskMeTooFast (see edit history)
