How to add a self populating field to a product

Hi all

 

We sell leather jackets and a lot of customers want to add there name on the back of the Jacket

How do i add a field to a product so the customer can choose if they want to add there name and a box/field where they can type the name as they want it

you can add customization field, and mark it as not necessary field

I have gone to products -customization ect
The problem is i can not see it on the product page
do i need to enable a module if so which one

no you don't have to enable ANY module

it should appear there by default

 

what theme you use?
