designlobby
I'm just getting started with Prestashop, I have done a local install and duplicated the default-bootstrap theme, renaming it *mynewtheme*. I go to Preferences > Themes and there no sign of mynewtheme? I also tried 'Add new theme' and 'Import from my computer'. I created a zip of mynewtheme, selected the file and hit save. There was an error: Bad configuration file What gives?
trouille2
Hi designlobby, I'm exactly like you but 2 months later. Did you find a way to have your theme? I'm stuck at the same step. Christophe
trouille2
Ok, I've found another way, I clicked on add a new theme > create a new theme, then fill the form and prefill the theme folder by selecting in the form default-bootstrap. It seems to work.
presta911
I found that if you go into the prestashop database (ie, using phpmyadmin or equivalent). If you find the ps_theme table, you can add the duplicated theme name, and appropriate settings, and the backend themes section will now have the duplicated theme available.
