Google mod_PageSpeed Ported to IIS

Recommended Posts

This is a server add in, so only for dedicated Server kits. But I have been playing with it all weekend and it works great with Prestashop.

Using this free resource you can completely and automatically change how your site loads. Java scripts and CSS are deferred, compressed and combined.

Images can be optimized in a number of ways. Choose a plan, set it and forget it.

You literally will not recognize your output source code with this module enabled. It automates all web master best practices.

Check it out, recommended.

Hello Bill

Thank you for sharing But, if your an idiot like me how do I go about utilising this.

Can I do the necessary myself or do i ask my host.

I am using a VPS

Is it worth me looking into this considering I am not very bright at this sort of thing.

Well you can upload the software. After you have the file on your system connect with remote desktop, right click the file and install as Administrator. After you install ... place the provided iispeed.config file in the root of your server.

That's it.

Check out the source code of this page to get a feel for what it does,
