How to set maximum order amount of customer per day

I am new to prestashop and cant find any solution for my problem.

 

I need to limit maximum order amount of customer per day.

 

If anyone can please help me on this problem.

feature like that doesnt exist in prestashop by default

case like that needs custom development

alteration of the core is necessary

I have been selling online for years and never heard of customers ordering like crazy several times a day at the point I have to modify a script to stop them from buying...

Pretty addictive stuff, maybe? He tries to protect the customer against him-/herself

 

Avedalab, do you need a maximum order amount in price or maximum order amount in number of  products?

Does it have to really be maximum order amount per day(24 hrs) or just per single order (but the customer can order many times per day)??

 

Please elaborate a little why you need this option and how exactly you need it.

I do need that customization for one project.

 

An industry that sells internally for its employees (a separate group of customers with a huge discount) must have a order amount limit per employee, to avoid them from reselling for family/friends.

 

I intend to develop this, but if someone have already accomplished that would be very useful.
