Issue with front office search

Hello,

 

I am using 1.5 and I got greek installed.

 

the problem is that some products does not appear on the front office search while appear on back office.

 

All the products are indexed. Maybe there is some issues with the greek letters?

it can be related to these greek letters.

can you share url to shop and to product that doesnt appear?

It appears that the issue is with this word "μολυβδου"

 

Please note that other greek words works fine.

Well...after a couple of index rebuilt it finally worked. Just one more question. Does the index rebuild uses any table for storing data?

i checked it and seems like everything is fine there now

 

search feature uses database table: ps_search_index, ps_search_word

i reindexed my shop like 5 times , i hit in back office ( ταινια αλουμινιου ) and i get the product , i hit in front office the same ( ταινια αλουμινιου) and i get nothing , and it does the same in many grrek character searches.  any help ?  in back office any search with greek works 100% ok , but in front office not working.
