[Solved] new arrivals homepage: change products order

Hello,

 

how can i order in a different way the news arrivals products at the homepage?

 

They are not in the same category (= in this case i can't use 'filter by category')

 

I need to do this because the new products at the shop are not necessary the last products upload by the BO.

if you want to order these products, the block will not have recently added products.

if you want to order them you can use for example this free module: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/352958-free-module-featured-products-display-featured-products-from-selected-category/

 

how?

 

create new HIDDEN category "new products",

associate products you want with this category, then change order of these products with "category" filter
