Help with homeslider position

Hello guys, im developing my own theme based on the default-bootstrap and i want my home slider to be right next to the categories, and i have transplanted it to displayhome

but when i turn on the new products or featured produtcs module, the slide goes to the bottom of the site.. right after the products modules, but i want it to be like this theme

to where do i hook or what do i need to change?

It sounds like other modules are hooked before it, so I think you can simply go to modules, positions, and take it up in the positions stack for the displayHome hook
