Subgategories in url

Hello to everyone :-) , this is my first post so I hope its is in the right place.

I'm very pleased with Prestashop so far, I think its very intuitive with great features for its size and quick to get up and running.

However I wonder if anyone would know how to get subcategories into the url? For example, if I navigate to a category and then a product, the url is correct but if I navigate to a subcategory within a category, then to a product, the url doesn't match. It misses out the parent category and shows the subcategory then the product.

Not a huge issue I know but since the breadcrumbs shows the path correctly it would be nice if the url matched.

For information I do have a generated .htaccess file and friendly urls turned on. I'm using version 1.2.5, the install is only three weeks old and I'm using the standard theme.
