michaelm11
HI google is your friend http://lmgtfy.com/?q=github+mailalerts @++ Loulou66 And which one do I download? The master one ? or the developer one? I tried downloading both zips, I then unzipped the folder and ftp'd it to my modules folder on my server, but when I went into the backend of my prestashop, under modules , to install it, I couldn't find mail alerts at all! El Patron
be careful about duplicate posting, it wastes community time working for you twice. if you are not able to do this on your own, then you should consider posting in job offers, so it can be done quick, and at reasonable price. loulou66
Hi 1°) download mailalerts-master.zip and unzip it on your computer 2°) go un the folder where you have unzip the module and rename mailalerts-master to mailalerts 3°) upload this folder in your FTP in the modules directory in the modules you must have the mailalert directory containing the file of modules and not one second directory named mailalert or mailalert-master 4°) you can now see the module in your BO @++ Loulou66

michaelm11
Hi ok can you activate error message and tell us the error http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/224525-how-to-turn-on-error-reporting-for-debug-information/ @++ Loulou66 Ok I have made some slight progress but I am still NOT receiving any emails when I do a test order. downloaded my prestashop version from here http://www.prestasho...lopers-versions again and I extracted the mailalerts folder from the modules folder from that download, and then FTP'd it to my modules folder on my server , installed it and configured it and everything is configured that end I have 'Receive a notification if a new order is made' checkbox ticked, and I have my websites email address (eg [email protected]) I then did a test order with a proper paypal checkout from a different paypal account, and I , the seller, still didnt receive an email confirming that a new sale has been made BTW I also turned on the error message mode in the config folder as mentioned above, and no errors are being shown please advise Edited September 7, 2014 by michaelm11 (see edit history)
