flavex
Hi Guys I disabled the log in procedure from my PS store because I want to avoid clicks, at least at the beginning. Also, I'm going to sell online services. Now I'm testing the payment gateway and sadly I've found that before to reach the checkout process of the payment gateway (MercadoDePago), the customer have to sign up in my shop, and report his full address, which is useless due to I sell virtual services, Is it a way to avoid these steps. Once the customer decides to checkout, I want the step 'select a payment method', that's all. I'll obtain the customer information through MercadoDePago or PayPal. In other words, I want to avoid the account a address creation for my customers. Thanks for your help! Regards. flavex
Hi I saw that its possible to do it partially in PS 1.5 through the dashboard Preference/Customers. Setting 'Only account creation', I should avoid step 3 of the PS check out (address). That could be an advance, I've this item in 'only account creation' already, still, when I test the checkout, PS is asking for an address in USA only. H.E.L.P.! El Patron
ok, I will be blunt, or at least English in German, yes? do not change your authorization path, if you want cleaner one and not pay for one-page, use the built in from PrestaShop (not the 5 step, but the one page). we at time think that was a 'good idea', i.e. change auth path because your product is different but a product is a product and payment gateways amongst others typically require the base information that authorize path collects. my advice, put back vanillla code, to where autho works as designed. happy day, el
flavex
Hola El I've sent a message to one page checkout addon developer. I'll see if its possible to buy in my PS store as a guest. In the meantime, do you know why I cannot disable the address creation process through Preference/Customer/Only Account Creation option? I'm about the sell virtual services, and its funny, but you can select only United States, apparently all the other countries don't belong to this planet, hahaha. On the other hand, at step 4.Terms, if I click on the link to see the note, it leads me into an odd page of 'terms and conditions', without any button around to come back into the checkout page, without anything but the text, its I kind of blind page, weird indeed. Thanks for your feedback El, and have a wonderful weekend! Regards. Edited September 5, 2014 by flavex (see edit history)

Thanks for your feedback El, and have a wonderful weekend! no, i just told you not to change it, to put all changes back...jajajajajaja don't change anything...this is where shop fails, they think they got 'bright idea', yea, and then...well...they fail. with changes you may have broken not only native PrestaShop, but also any chance to use 'other' methods, native one-step, addon or for payment gateway to work. belive me now, thank me later...focus on product...fast shop...and not customizing something that if you upgrade you will lose anyway. make money, not work
flavex
Hola El I'm going to thank you now, THANKS! (-: I'm not going to change anything. I'm looking if there is a way to optimize the checkout process through the PS dashboard/backend and wondering why I cannot disable the step 2 address creation through Preference/Customer/Only Account Creation option. On the other hand, at step 4.Terms, if I click on the link to see the note, it leads me into an odd page of 'terms and conditions', without any button around to come back into the checkout page, without anything but the text, its I kind of blind page, weird indeed. Thanks again Amigo! Regards.
