images not shown after selecting payment method

Hi,

I have enabled on a site COD and Bankwire payment methods. I have on right column the following modules: Specials, New products, Best sellers.
The problem is, that after selecting the payment method (either one), in the mentioned modules the pictures disappear.
The url in the browser changes to /modules/bankwire/payment.php or /modules/cashondelivery/validation.php after selecting the payment method. In the mentioned modules/blocks the image url is:

so if the url in the browser changes to /modules/xxx/, the images are trying to load from /modules/bankwire/img/timthumb.php?src=/img/p/484-886.jpg&w=80&h=80&zc=1 , and of course, are not found.

How to fix this?
