How to make a slider with max width of screen (not content)

This is my question, how i can make a slider with the 100% of the screen.

 

I use prestashop 1.6 and use default-boostrap theme.

Was looking for the same today. I was able to find this (payed, but relatively cheap) module which has some insanely beautiful features: http://codecanyon.net/item/slider-revolution-responsive-prestashop-module/7140939

 

Unfortunately I still use 1.5 myself, but can't wait to move to 1.6.x with this slider one day

In theme configurator module remove banners from Hook Top.

Then make your banner images 1170 px wide and set this width in home slider module.
