[SOLVED] CSS changes, files have become un-editable

Recommended Posts

Still nothing working. I've found the  /themes/shop/cache/  and deleted the css file that it was being directed to in the cache. That didn't work. I changed the setting to "Keep CSS as original" instead of using CCC for CSS. Still nothing. Using the inspection tool in Chrome that just changed it showing the CSS in the cache to using the actual file, ie global.css or homefeatured.css. Changing those files does absolutely nothing.

Please help!

Ive gone as far as deleting all the text in the global.css and saving it. Nothing happens. Of course it's backed up now. But I've made a small color edit, so i will know when things work again.  Any ideas?

When using the inspection tool I see it is going to themes/shop/cache/2fd0090bb8f84ddefd5d26fdc8858c4c_all.css

Can I delete these files here so maybe it will direct to the correct global.css, etc...

Well it's too late to do that manually, is that the problem? I'm using 1.5.4.1. So when I clear smarty cache, Template Cache to No and Cache to disable. I've tried every variable. Literally have been at this all day.  Any other ideas? I recently got CloudCache and using the basic version. Could it be something with them? Or maybe because I manually delete files

In the smarty debud console I opened it and this is what it says:

Smarty Debug Console - Total Time 2.06898 included templates & config files (load time in seconds)
/home1/../public_html/mydomain/modules/ganalytics/views/templates/hook/header.tpl (compile 0.24959) (render 0.00172) (cache 0.00000)

And there's about 15 of these for .tpl files.

assigned template variables $HOOK_FOOTER Smarty_Variable Object (3)
->value = " <script type="text/javascript"> ..."
->nocache = false
->scope = "Smarty root"

and this list goes on...

I have disabled cloudfare. It took about 4 hours and then the site was still messed up. Contacted hostmonster and there was a problem with my DNS. But it had jumbled my entire site and had to fix the homepage after all this. Eitherway things are back to normal, thanks for the help!
