LIVE Prestashop 1.5.4.1 - Non default theme - SSL enabled - ajax cart OFF - Friendly Urls ON

Problem - Products with combinations, intermittently show it is out of stock with the message "this combination does not exist for this product....". When page is refreshed the product shows in stock and available (most times). Close browsers, revisit pages and it may or may not show correctly next time viewed. I have used Chrome, Firefox, Safari and IE.

It is so intermittent that I cannot determine a pattern for this problem but it seems it only affects product that have combinations.

I have cleared cache, turned off/on friendly urls, recreated htaccess and robot.txt files. All combination products are in stock and I have manually and automatically created the combinations again.

Chrome shows 2 errors

1. Uncaught ReferenceError - addCombination is not defined (product html page:547)

2. Uncaught TypeError - undefined is not a function (product.js:1164)

Errors seem to be with JS which I do not have knowledge. I have checked other topics cannot find any solution. Some old topics talk about a "loading js file async problem" without solution.

If I have missed helpful information please let me know.

Q. Can anyone suggest a solution or know of this problem.

Any help would be gratefully received.

I believe the issue is with your host and connectivity.

I compared the page source when there are no errors to the source of the same page when there were errors (reloading a few times does show errors).

I also noticed the website is quite slow.

To be sure, you should try to place the site on another server (or even your local computer using bitnami.com)

Thanks Tomerg3 I shall have a word with my hosting company. Yes it does slow down sometimes and the product actually shows available for a second then quickly reverts to out of stock etc...strange.

I have now made a test duplicate site with updated Prestashop 1.5.6.2 and that one is NOT showing any of these problems. The test site is on same hosting company.

If it continues to test OK then I will upgrade the clients LIVE store and hopefully fix this problem.
