sophiia
Hi all, i am very new to prestashop! Ok so I’m trying to create my menu bar i believe that so far i am doing it correctly. I go to Preferences > CMS > Add new Category(I’m using these as the main links on my nav bar) i then click on a category for example Kitchen which i then add other categories such as floor tiles, sideboards etc. But say i then want to use floor tiles underneath a totally new category is this possible? so for examples I already have the sub category Bathroom > bathroom floor tiles, however i want to add a new main category Floor tiles and have bathroom floor tiles as a sub category i don’t want to keep making the same page, how can i use the same page from Bathroom bathroom floor tiles? Its very difficult to explain if any one has any good tutorials i would be grateful! Thanks
Crowell
So you want to have one sub-category for two different main categories? To make it I'd try to copy all of the data and make the same friendly url, but I'm not an expert Why do you create categories in CMS not in Catalog > categories?
sophiia
Yeah, after i wrote that post i played around a little longer and then realised exactly what you said. I have no created all of my pages in categories. But i now face a new problem is that i would like to add a blank page (not a category page) to the drop down. Another thing that i was thinking was to create a category in cms to get a blank page that but i wanted to edit the page that is on the nav bar( technically the category) as it just displays a list of pages that are in my category. Thanks for your advice
