frank_jarle
Hi guys I am so stuck in the import of products through CSV in PrestaShop. I have downloaded the sample CSV for products, but it does not answer my questions. I hope some of you can cast a light over my problem. This is what i have done in PS: 1) In Catalog->Product Feature 2) I have defined a set of about 25 (or so) Features that answers to the fields i have in my CSV file In my Excel spreadsheet i have columns from NO, Brand,Model, Weight, Length, Height, Sensor, etc, etc2,etc3. I have uploaded the CSV file, and i thought all the columns i had in the csv i could link to each Product Feature i had defined already? As in link 1-to-1. I upload a snipet version of my Spreadsheet and csv file. Maybe someone can just see what i am doing wrong here, as my eyes is really hurting after hours of trying to solve this... Mice_Data_collection.csv.txt Mice_Data_collection.xlsx.txt Just rename the files to txt and xlsx respectively. As i have a long product list that i built up already from before i used any commercial software, i have never had the need to split up into individual csv-files for product, features, etc. All i know is that i have a spreadsheet with numbers of columns and in Prestashop i have created Product Features that answers to those columns, it shouldnt be too hard to import this. This is how my Product Feature page look like: This is how i tried to import it in PrestaShop: Feedback, correction of the spreadsheet is most welcome, thanks. Branoo
I can say that you have way too many columns in your xls. To my understanding, when you do an import of Products / Categories ect, on right side you have ALL available fields for that specific import recognizable by PS. Whatever you put extra it wont import in. I was suggested to use Storemanager. Have not tried that yet.
frank_jarle
Hmm, that option is a bit out of a budget for a guy not doing sales :-) USD199, well thank you for your suggestion i looked at the video of the product, which does looks neat, but unfortunately way too expensive for what this site will be using prestashop for (non-sales) :-)
