CSV Import/Export and Export/Import Issues

Hey there,

 

Im having a problem with a csv import and finding difficult to import/export over and over.

 

I have few hundreds of products, and i want to bulk change category. I could not find this option anywhere in PS ?? What? No bulk change in it??

 

Therefore I have to re-import all products to PS but there is another problem, if my category uses non-English letters, the import creates a new category without these letters and that is not good.

 

Any thoughts?

You could give the demo of the module 'storemanager' a try. You could then export your products to CSV, then edit the file (use the free OpenOffice to do that) and save the file (UTF-8). Then upload it (watch every step carefully when you do, but it works perfectly).

Storemanager is an application you install on your PC. You make a connection to your shop and database with it.

Yes, I realized that. 

 

 

PS has got some pretty expensive modules and addons...
