Blank frontpage

I'm having a very serious issue with my prestashop. I bought a template (uhu-bootstrap) and installed it to my existing website. I accessed it from the frontend, the alignment was out of synch; I decided to delete the old template to make it easier for me but ended up with a blank page. I have been struggling for the past 2 days to figure out why I can't get the template to work. I don't know if any of you have come across a similar problem before and how did you resolve it. Any help will be welcome because I have ran out of energy. The website is www.mariesmartfashion.co.uk.

I think the first step you need to take is to ask UHU what has gone wrong, whether it is your mistake or theirs

 

They have a large amount of themes on Prestashop Add-ons so try and contact them from their

I contacted the developer they were able to install the theme for me but when I try to update any information on the theme, I get a blank page. I informed the developer, they asked me to set up a demo site on thesame domain to see if it would work. I did that and it worked but my live site still cannot work. I'm stock and I have spent months working on the site up till now; I don't want to start all over. The developer suggested that I replace the live site with the demo but I'm not sure how to go about that because the demo site in on www.mysite/test. I would appreciate if anyone can be of help.

I tried to upgrade it from 1.6.0.8 to 1.6.0.9 to see if the problem would resolve but the upgrade didn't go through. See attached the error message I got.
