[Solved]Sitemap - setting up and using

Hi All,

Does anyone have a primer on how to use the gsitemap module? Here's what I have so far:

1. I've installed the module
2. I've configured it and the xml file exists
3. I've tried to hook it into the blockinfos module:

I'm wondering what on earth I'm missing.

1. How do I hook it into my information section so that people can see it?
2. Just because it exists, does that mean the search engine will find it?

I've been looking everywhere and haven't seen any information on this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'd be so happy!

I take it you have already submitted your site url to google?

First of all I would setup a google webmasters account, if you haven'e already done it. It has a very easy to use interface and will explain everything you need to get your site properly indexed and crawled by the goggle bots. it also explains where to put your sitemap.xml file and how to generate a robot.txt file in order for google to crawl your website.
