I have error log with smarty, undefined index at line 157,69,70,71,72,109,110 in file smarty_internal_templatebase.php. And site can not display pattern same CSS error. How can i fix it ? Thanks.

i also encounter the same problem when i try to upgrade my ps version 1.6.0.6 to 1.6.0.9

current solution that i get currently, i just replace the new version smarty with the oldest version from 1.6.0.6. for now, it solve my problem.

New to Prestashop, never had used it although I develop websites for more than 10 years.

I always prefered Joomla w/ Virtuemart or WordPress w/ WooCommerce. Since I have now a partner who has a ecommerce website for some time now and he is using Prestashop, I will keep it like that.

So, after this short introduction, I must say that I had never so many problems and errors before with any other software as I am having with Prestashop...

Maybe bad luck, maybe lack of knowledge, maybe a lot of things all together, but I don't consider myself a noob at this and I solved all problems I faced so far. BUT... (there is always a "but"), this problem I couldn't solve even replacing smarty from that specific version 1.6.0.6

As far as I could find on my short Google searches, it seems to be a recent problem yet with no solution.

This happens only in "Order" screen and I haven't even tested if this have any effect whatsoever while ordering...

oh man, I am so pissed with Prestashop right now and I am not even close to finish!

I have me too this error when try to export orders with standard button with the new PS 1.6.9.

With the previous version the function export worked correcly.

Did you fix it?

Same issue here, with a 1.6.0.9 shop upgraded from 1.6.0.6

I replaced smarty as imiedesu suggested and now it works.

On the main root find the "Tools" dir, then the "Smarty" dir and then the "sysplugins" dir. I replaced everything there with the same files from the 1.6.0.6 version and problem solved.

Exact path: .../tools/smarty/sysplugins

Go to your public_html, open the "cache" directory and then the "smarty" directory. Then rename the "compile" directory to "compile_' and try again.

turn off prestashop error reporting..these are just notices...

having prestashop display errors/noices etc. turned on can lead to unexpected problems.

Oh I see! Since I'm using Prestashop 1.6 I went to "config/defines.inc.php" and saw this:

define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', true);

Then I saw this bellow:

if (_PS_MODE_DEV_){

@ini_set('display_errors', 'on');

@error_reporting(E_ALL | E_STRICT);

define('_PS_DEBUG_SQL_', true);

}else{

@ini_set('display_errors', 'off');

define('_PS_DEBUG_SQL_', false);

}

And everything makes sense to me now.

No major changes.

Debug mode shows below error when I go to back office sign in page.

I have cleared cache, disabled all performance options, cleared smarty cache manually still no luck.

Also copied all contents of ..../tools/smarty/ from a backup 1.6.0.9 fresh installation, still same error.

Please help as my production server is hit

I got a similar problem after upgrading to 1.6.0.14 (from 1.6.0.6). It happens when I access any product editor page in BO.

PHP Fatal error:  Call to undefined method Product::resolveBoMinQty() in ~/public_html/tools/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatebase.php(157) : eval()'d code on line 714

While in inspect element I get:

ReferenceError: Can't find variable: $

I tried to follow your advice to copy the /tools/smarty/sysplugins/ content of the previous version, but the ReferenceError remains and in error_log I get:

PHP Fatal error:  Call to undefined method Product::resolveBoMinQty() in ~/public_html/cache/smarty/compile/94/e7/cf/94e7cf9f45c8beb6b12f883571fc251a495ec901.file.form.tpl.php on line 714

I am using 1.6.0.14 and standard theme, I got the same error when showing the product's reference number.

tools/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatebase.php(157) : eval()'d code

I have tried disable cache, rename smarty/compile folder ... still get the same error. But this is not fatal...

For other parts, it seems normal !

Finally, I fixed it but the solution does not relate to "?>".

Summary: I wanted to display product.reference to product, bestselling, popular block. But, product.reference has not been retrieved from SQL. Finally, I added them back (with this thread https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/437169-product-reference-in-product-list-prestashop-16-again/?do=findComment&comment=2031335).

Error "eval("?>" . $code);" no longer exist.

Hi,

To solve the Eval error,

1. try put the cache in system files, not mysql (clear cache)

2. if not solve, use system files cache, and use php 5.3

I get this erros in php 5.4, with modules that using clearcache function and when enable the mysql in cache.

Error eval()'d is not generated by standard files Prestashop, but by a nonstandard module - try to disable one by one active modules that are not signed by PrestaShop. One of the modules not properly used the php tags <? ?>

After identifying the module that generates the problem, check in yours code the tags PHP (<?php and ?>)

I have the same sort of error, just started. No updated made, no modules changed from when it worked without problem. I cleared the cache and cleaned the database, but no change. It happens when I go to an order page, then a list of 11 errors appears, all in the form of:

In common is adminOrder.tpl.php but the final part (here as ipAddress) changes, like 'latitude' and 'timezone' with different line numbers.

Some orders work fine, others have this behaviour but appear to otherwise work. I do not know enough of how to start to fix this; I do not understand much of coding. It never happened before with a working site. What can I try to fix this?

One observation - customer told me it was after he paid on paypal. He should return to my store but he saw only white page with some errors... strange is there is nothing in error log of the actual hsoting service on that time.

I duplicate the theme to customize it for each shop
but when I enable the duplicated shop I have this error in the front office.I was have 500 errors but when I enable define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', true); I got this error

PrestaShop doesn't have an OvicLayoutControl class, so it must be a third-party module causing the problem. Search all your third-party modules for that class name.

I had this issue after migrating to a new server. I moved to a dedicated server with twice the horsepower and the public facing side of the site was running 20 second load times, and super high CGI CPU. Running on IIS, you need to update all the file/folder permissions. Ensure your IIS user has read, write and modify permission. The modify was the ticket as PS was not able to delete certain file.

if above is true.

2] If you can login into admin and clear your cache.

ok, a really old post. I just received a similar error after migrating to php7, centos 7. So a quick compare of php ini indicated the new server memory limit was too low. Increased from the 32M set during server build to 200M and the errors went away.

PrestaShop doesn't have $hazmat_fees, $poison_fees or $refrigerated_fees variables, so you must have installed a third-party module that creates these variables. Find that module and contact the developer of the module for support.

Edit config/defines.inc.php and change the value of _PS_MODE_DEV_ from false to true. You should then get an error message instead of a 500 error that should help you debug the problem.

From the error message, it appears the problem is on line 33 (in PrestaShop v1.6.1.17) of modules/trackingfront/views/template/front/login.tpl:

On your website, $tpl_dir is not defined, which is weird, since it should be defined on line 444 (in PrestaShop v1.6.1.17) of classes/FrontController.php:

'tpl_dir' => _PS_THEME_DIR_,

Are you trying to use the PrestaShop v1.6 tracking module in PrestaShop v1.7? That would explain this error, since the module does not support PrestaShop v1.7.

Then you'll need to delete the trackingfront module, since it's not compatible. There is no version of that module that works in PrestaShop v1.7 at the moment.
