Newsletter not sending confirmation emails

Hello there,

 

Just wonder if someone could help me.

 

I just tested signing up to the newsletter through the main page of prestashop, it shows that I have been successfully added to the newsletter but I did not actually received any email to confirm that I have been signed up, neither a confirmation link to ensure that that email address owner is happy to be added to the newsletter.

 

Any ideas please?

inside the newsletter module there should be an option like:

send a check email after subscripe

send a confirmation mail after subscripe

 

iv got it all translated to dutch, so i cant tell you excaly what it says

 

But when your in the admin panel and you typ in the searchbar: Newsletter

and then select Newsletter block, you  will have the right module.

Have the same issue,

 

it's look like confirmation mail was sent and i get a entry in ps_newsletter, but i don't get the confirmation mail. After setting _PS_MODE_DEV_ and _PS_DEBUG_PROFILING_ on true in the settings.inc.php i get: Error - The language file is missing for: en

The translation files are there. Maybe the module blocknewsletter have a path bug?
