Adding Shipping rate

Hi All

I Want to add check box With label "Free Shipping to Customer" in add new product page,

If we click check box then free shipping label should display in product page other wise it should display shipping rate what ever we entered in additional shipping cost. Check the attached picture and help to fix it as soon as possible.

PrestaShop version: 1.5.6.2

Hi,

so if I understood that correctly.

If there is additional shipping cost (asc), then display the value of asc.

If not, then display free shipping?

How about this?

Ye, product.tpl.

Try placing it amongst availibility or other similar lookling elements.

Although I do not know how your product.tpl file looks like, if you have problems editing it, you can paste its content in this thread

Small confusion here... actually i want check box in add new product page(backend) as "free shipping to customer" if i click that check box then free shipping should show in product page other wise it should show the shipping cost. Because our store is multi seller store.. so we cant fix the same shipping policies for all the sellers. kindly help it,

Hi Gosellr,

that is a whole other story, but why shouldn't this solution work?

There are two cases either way.

Case 1) You set an additional shipping cost, and that's what shows up in front office.

Case 2) You do not set one, instead of the cost a message "Free shipping" will appear.

I would suggest placing my code below here.

Hi psfever,

Thanks for your suggestion and it works fine.

But our problem is we have modified our coding for shipping in the below scenario.

We will provide the shipping facility to seller and will charge them based on product weight.

So we calculate commission + additional shipping cost = our commission.

If we do not enter any amount on addition shipping cost then shipping cost goes from our hand.

Thatsy i asked check box in add new product to display the free shipping label. If seller want to give shipping to customer then we will select the check box and it will not affect shipping charges on our commission.

I hope you can understand my situation and sorry to bugging you..
