PS1.6: How to redesign product list using css only

Hi,

 

I am currently setting up a prestashop. For my purpose, the standard theme is alright, but I think the product list could be improved. 

 

Ideally the product list would look similar to this: http://www.squarespace.com/templates/?q=adirondack%20businesses

 

Not being proficient in php/html//css, I am wondering how I have to change the css file to achieve this design/effect.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for my not being clear.

 

I mean the product list of the template adirondack (s. attachment).

 

Alternatively, the shopify theme 'simple' is a good example: http://simpletheme.myshopify.com/
