Liliana M
Hi everyone, For some reason I can't save the installed module translations , when I click on the SAVE button it opens a 404 page. Can Anyone tell me how I can fix it? I do appreciate any help. Thank you very much. I'm using PS 1.6.0.8 Regards, Liliana
gabrielcr
same here.. i've been searching in the topics but not much sucess for now... i saw another topic simmilar to this one (here).. closed by PascalVG saying that this topic has the answer; but that is not an answer.. User just says "my hosting admin fixed a wrogn php version o host", but does not say how, and even though, it couldnot be the answer for all of us. In my case, I have a 3rd party Theme and when i try to update any module or frontpage label for that theme, i'm redirected to the 404 "non available" page... is there any place i can check? any ideas? thanks!! gabe Edited August 24, 2014 by gabrielcr (see edit history)
gabrielcr
Hello Liliana After oppeing a bug case and been redirected to this topic: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/319742-cant-save-front-office-translation-have-404-error/ i found that they are correct, this is not a prestashop error but a secirity configuratino on your hosting... I use Go daddy and prestahop 1.6.0.9. this issue was happening to me, i could update Front office, back office, mails, etc.. everything except modules for any theme.after more than one hour in a call with goDaddy Support, they said indeed there was a configuration on the server (mine is a shared host) and they changed some rules specific for my host. I requested for them to give me the rules they changed so i could post them here and give you a hint, but they said those rules are confidential. nevertheless they are supposed to add this info to their server to have a better idea of what was the problem in the future and hopefully take less time fixing it upon users call.i hope this help!
