JFDionne
Hi, I just install the new version of prestashop, I install it from french and before doing anything on the admin I tried to change English to French from the default web site, but it doesn't work, when I click on french I stay in english. I have tried to change the url /en/ by /fr/ but he kept me on the english version, someone have any idea how to fix that? http://boutique.simpletag.net/en/
El Patron
I set my browser language to 'french' and then visited your shop without the /en/ it showed me French. ps has basic language detection using visitor browser values. ps also will remember the last language you vistied in, so if browser language is french, the you would need to clean cookies and revisit without language part of url /en/ or /fr/. happy prestashopping

El Patron
sorry I think I forgot to tell, the detection is working, it's the button on the main page at the top left isn't uhm..well I will agree that ps basic detect 'sort of' works. jajajaja but then I don't like guessing when it comes to visitor localization: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/349727-module-geo-localization-advanced-visitor-language-detect/ as for the front office selector (assuming this is what you are questioning) it works perfect for me using firefox. as for your theme issue,

grafikerinbiri
I think from the Menu > Localization > Localization Configuration > Default Language and Default Country > Save At the bottom of the same page: Advanced > Language identifier > Save

El Patron
Strange, it's not working for me, maybe bad cookie ? it's very possible, this can happen when we first develop our shops, clear your browse cache and this domains cookies....
