tazmanian Posted November 22, 2009 Share Posted November 22, 2009 I have been looking and looking for a good reliable product outside of oscommerce that will do both wholesale and retail and also a semi simple theme to go along with it (not important at this point). I looked at Magento but it is just a bit bloated still at this point but will be my only option unless someone can help me. I guess I need to know at this point if prestashop will support both of these. The main way of doing it is with a normal retail site and then when a user logins in with the name password combo it will then show wholesale prices. If this can already be done in prestashop then please shout and tell me how. If not, then also please tell me when? I have been looking at Magento as we need a retail/wholesale solution - it seems to offer what we need but is complicated compared tp Prestashop. Our wholesale site also requires minimum orders of say six items. So we will sell some products to wholesalers in packs of six only as well as single items in retail (with no packs of six shown in retail).I would be interested if Prestashop could do this and offer different prices for wholesale/retail not based on discount. I am now also looking at interspire for one of my clients that has a bit more $$ to spend. Prestacart does not appear to have whole/retail done right at this time...sadly..
