Locate a store before showing products in a category

Hi all,

 

I am currently building a site which is for store collection only in a 25 mile radius.

 

The problem I have is this, I want to ask the customer the postcode when they click on a category, if a store is available within a 25 mile radius then they can proceed, if no store is available then a message saying products not available in your area.

 

Is there a module that does this ? or can anyone help ?

I am not sure where you are from but if you use the term "Post codes" then perhaps you are from the UK.

 

Anyway, the easiest way to do this would be to use Zones, so every Zone would have a different Post Code.

 

For example, if you were selling your products in Birmingham, UK then:

 

B1 = Zone 1

B2 = Zone 2

B3 = Zone 3

 

any Zone that you have not configured ( not in a 25 mile radius, would say "No deliveries" to your area ( or whatever text you want to use)

Hi Thanks for that, but what i want to achieve is they need to enter a postcode/zip code and use the store locator as the search before they can see the products available.
