kristoffer.falk
Hi.. I've seen some other post about this topic but no solution to the problem? When adding image to subcategory the overview looks perfect (see below) but when you enter in subcategory the text overlays the image (see below agan - looks not so good ) Is there any way to change so the text and image are seperated in to two columns or to have the text written above or below the image? Thanks in advance for any helpfull tips. :-)
NemoPS
Unfortunately not, sadly enough, categories can only have 1 default image, so you can have square images for subcategories, or rectangular. I fear you have to disable either of the 2, at the current state of things (we should probably ask for the secondary image in a pull request, as it's really lacking)
kristoffer.falk
Hi Nemo1 Thanks for your reply. Seems a bit strange this can't be fixed - I assume that many shops have the problem. Its either "no image" in subcategory overview or this "not so good looking text/image overlay" Must be bad planning or faulty programming.. :-( Haven't found any paid modules that state to be able to fix the problem either so not a money making scheme either. :-) Any suggestion on how community can make PS aware on the severity of this issue. Thanks again.
NemoPS
Well yeah, I agree. I did this kind of modification for a client back in 1.4, so I know the issue quite well. You can try with a github request https://github.com/PrestaShop
