Naldinho
I've spent time reading old topics on live chat options but even though there is quite a few the most recent is nearly a year old. From my research Zopium seem to be the best it but I've hit that point where I am starting to shut down from too much info. So my criteria. 1) Free is better than pay but I don't mind paying for a module if it is better. Nothing with a monthly subscription at first -- something with monthly for more features that I could eventually grow into is fine. 2) Obviously no ads. I didn't even think that required saying but it was mentioned in one of the previous topics. 3) The ability to engage in chat from an Android phone would be a plus. The main purpose of chat will be to give customers who have questions a way to instantly contact a live person. While I would like the ability to pop-up and ask if they need help that will be something that is done sparingly. I'm not sure if that would make a difference in anyone's suggestion. catalin.pop
Hello. I'm the founder of HubTalk , so my answer is a little biased for the obvious reasons. 1) The live chat is free module+ service ( no monthly fee) 2) No ads, obviously 3) For the moment we're building and iphone app which is currently in the pre alpha state. We plan to start our android app as soon as the iphone app is finished, however we don't have a deadline right now. HubTalk is deeply integrated with prestashop, so besides the one on one live chat, your operators can also see what products your client has in his current shopping cart, previous orders and much more. For more information check the module page Live chat software for Prestashop Also if you're using Firefox on desktop you can use our Firefox add-on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/hubtalk/ to stay permanently online and get notified when someone sends you a message. I've also opened a thread on this forum: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/353383-module-free-live-chat-software-for-prestashop-hubtalk/ If you need more info, don't hesitate to contact me. Mephivio
For Livezilla, you're offpremise mode you have also to secure your server but it may be a solution to evaluate
