Mobius2000
Hi everyone, thank you in advance for any one that can offer some support here.I have successfully got my head around importing categories and products but am now stuck on importing attributes.I have been trying with the following: ID REFERENCE OPTION 500 Colour red, black, green, blue And with that I just keep getting: Attribute->name is empty for default language I was hoping one of you nice smart people out there that have managed to get this done could send over a version of your attribute CSV so I can see the exact layout and what is needed to achieve this. Please!!! :-)
rocky
Did you see the example on the wiki? It says the CSV should be in this format: id_product;options;reference;supplier_reference;ean13;wholesale_price;price;ecotax;quantity;weight;default 1;Length:120,Width:140;AB11242;15472C;1234567890123;120;900;5;10000;5;1 1;Length:100,Width:160;AB11243;15473C;1234567890124;120;900;5;10000;5;
Mobius2000
Hi there Rocky,Sorry mate, call me a nuff nuff but I can't get my head around how I can incorporate this example to my needs.Hold on... Just as I type this, I've had a little lightening bolt :-) where you have under the options column "length", this creates the attribute group, on the same line it creates the first reference "120", then the second line tells the importer that because it also uses "option" to then add that lines reference of "100" to it?Sorry, my write up made sense in my head, not sure if it did here...Basically my issue is my site has 500+ phones, some need a colour attribute (not all phones come in the same colours so this will vary), others need attributes for memory size and some how I need to be able to add multiple product ID's to each attribute set... Or some other way of streamlining the process of adding my custom attributes to a large number of different items.I'm so sorry Rocky, it's just not making much sense in my mind. :red:
