HillcrestHS
Prestashop 1.6.0.8 Hi sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place, I'm new to the forum and still finding my way around. When I'm updating products and prices in the back office, it is not auto calculating the prices/tax. I have set up: Tax Rule (UK 20%) Taxes (UK 20%) Have enabled the tax have enabled 'Display tax in the shopping cart' enabled: 'Display tax label' under localization > countries > UK But nothing is being calculated in the back office and as a result nothing in the front office. I can make a change to the product.tpl and product-list.tpl to display calculate the tax and show the price with tax added, but I would really like to get taxes working in the back office so I can use invoicing etc. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Joe Edited August 18, 2014 by HillcrestHS (see edit history)
HillcrestHS
Hi All, any help would be really appreciated, we're coming up to go live and would like to get this resolved, I'm looking at B2B sales as well as B2C sales and not having the tax calculated by Prestashop could be a show stopper. thanks in advance... HillcrestHS
I found the following tip by El Patron on Kim Maarup's post (Jun 24 2014 03:38 PM): No tax on products - back office-->customers-->groups, edit each group and set to tax included as required, http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/339667-no-tax-on-products/?p=1714510 but this still did not work for me... any advances on this
HillcrestHS
Gotcha... Back office-->Localisations-->Tax Rules--> [Add a new tax rule] button on top of page in green bar To my UK Standard Rate 20% tax rule, I added a new tax rule which linked back to my VAT UK 20% under: Back office-->Localisations-->Taxes All now works properly Edited August 19, 2014 by HillcrestHS (see edit history)
