Marcus57
Hey I have a website theme made by someone else and I want to be able to edit it to add things, such as say a register/log in button. How do you edit pre existing themes?
Paulito
Hello Well, the first thing you need to do is: Tell the forum what theme you have What Prestashop version you are using Is it default theme or have you/some one bought it And, really important, what modifications you want to make. I know this forum is great at helping members but information is Good. Paul
Marcus57
It's a custom made theme by someone else. Presta Shop 1.5 Paid someone else to do it. I want to make register/log in buttons more noticeable as they're hidden away on a button with a padlock... I think this is costing us sales, people are putting items into baskets and yet not checking out or creating accounts. I may also in the future want to add things like tabs for special offers. vekia
check this docs: http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS15/Theme+development+fundamentals you can change your theme in the same way as default one, just modify files exactly as it is described in development fundamentals
Marcus57
I wanted to know how to edit a theme, rather than change to a different one.
