Payment method discount not being applied if order is created from backend

Hello prestashoppers. Got two issues with creating orders from backend.

I'll create two threads to separate the issues.

 

First problem with creating an order from the backend is that payment method discounts aren't applied automatically like it is when the order is created via the frontend.

 

I have 5% automatic discount setup for direct wire / deposit, when i create an order using this payment method i expect the discount to be applied just like it is via fronted. It doesn't work.

 

Is this by design or a bug ? 

 

Any idea on how to fix it ?

I don't believe this is inherit functionality with Prestashop, are you using a module for this?

For the life of me i can't remember where is that 5% discount defined but it sure is connected with bank wire discount module bundled with prestashop.

Ok found it. it's a cart rule that the module creates and uses.

ok, so you probably need to reach out to the author of this module.  It is not core Prestashop functionality
