What i can do for see subcategory in list and not with grid

Hi, i have prestashop 1.6.9 and little problem with subcategories.

In my shop it's very important show information in sub categories because all category are very similar.

What i can do for change sub category grid in sub category list ?

any category of cylinder have different caratteristic and with grid.. customer for finde what search must look all.
