Teapot Creative
Hi Does anyone know of a Combinations generator that can add Connected or Dependant attributes: i.e Product Combinations: Product Z .. has these combinations: Style: A Size: - 1, 2, 3 Colors: A, B, C Style: B Size - 1, 2, 3 Colors: D, E, F It seems you can use the Prestashop Combinations Generator in the BO to create this product with all Styles available in all Colours and Sizes, but not generate Style A combinations, then generate Style B combinations... is this correct and can we only generate this type of combinations singularly one by one in the combinations list? Or obviously via CSV file.... or is there an Addon that can generate combinations as above? angelistudio
Nick, I don't think you can do this out of the box. I'd create separate products, but maybe I'm wrong... this could help: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/47363-module-attribute-wizard-pro-create-unlimited-attributes-combinations-choose-frm-7-input-types/
Teapot Creative
Hi Yes that is an option we have considered, angelistudio... but for this particular client its not an option, looking more like some CSV time needed to be put in. Thanks for the reference.. Nick
Naldinho
I also need this feature. When I asked about it a few months back I was told it would be something that I'd have to contract out. More recently I found a module when looking for something else that seems to imply that it does this http://addons.prestashop.com/en/front-office-features-prestashop-modules/12352-advanced-display-combinations-attribute-in-stock.html The documentation is a little lacking so it isn't clear but it does seem to be on topic. I only found it last night and even if it is what I think it wouldn't work for my purposes but it does seem like it might for you. I'd suggest searching on here for a discussion of that module. For myself for now I have just worked around the problem of not having conditional attributes by splitting stuff up into multiple products or leaving certain attributes out and having them as a special instruction. That really isn't a professional looking solution so once all the easier stuff is done I'm going to try making my own (and if that fails then hiring someone to do it for me).
