aaronmarsh632
Hi, I'm new to prestashop so I have only been playing with it for a short time. I have a question regards setting the shop up for services. Long story short I have a mobile repair shop which I want to take online, so the idea is lets say a customer has a broken phone screen, they can click the product on the site, and go through the checkout process to pay for the repair, then I was thinking they download an order form which is created by the site and they post the phone with the order form so when we receive it we can match the job to the order. I'd like some custom fields on the order form which can be filled in by the customer once they print it Is there anything special I need to do to achieve this or am I thinking of the wrong way? El Patron
have you tested a test product 'repair service' through checkout? make sure you have mail alerts installed. review the order that is sent to customer and the shop manager. you may just be able to customize the order email, or it may be ok. as for custom, that is a different can of worms...see if native works for you, i.e. attributes etc. then you will have idea if native will work or your will need additional module and/or custom.
