How to move the search bar from the header to the nav

How do I move the search bar from the header to the nav bar? In the picture: to the solid red?

I found the blocksearch-top module, but I'm not quite sure how to configure that to make it show up in the nav bar

modules > positions

click on transplant button

from list select qucik search block

from second list select displayNav

save changes

 

 

after that block search will be attached to displayNav section and you will need to deal with css styles

So, I moved the search bar, and there's a little quirk, the button is underneath the form. I tried modifying the blocksearch.css but it seems like it's not actually doing anything...I even uploaded a blank css named "blocksearch.css" and the search bar seems to stay the same

this is why i said that you have to:

due to the fact that your search bar is in new position, it will be necessary to overwrite old styles to support this new position
