imgs
Try to set H1 for most important word in website, H2 for almost, etc. Try to change standard H3 headers from modules to H5 or more because they are not important. Instal very good Woorank extension for Firefox (website is paid but extension is free) and analise your website.

Alt-team
Dear Anders and Others, Saranrajj gave a good list of must done things. Meta information (title, description) is also important. But you should not forget about the main principle. "Do sites not for machines but for people". So fill your site with the unique and quality content and Google will estimate it. It may be good product description, recent news of you company. It is better to run a blog. Even customers' reviews can boost your site if there are lots of them. Best regards, Alt-team. Dh42
I don't think there is enough data out to confirm how much it works, but I can confirm that they have added it to their ranking factors. http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2014/08/https-as-ranking-signal.html
