5YearWinter Posted August 12, 2014 Share Posted August 12, 2014 I have shipping set up on a scale by the total purchased and that works great for most items but not for gift certificates. Our lowest shipping rate is $5.50 because things are like shirts and hats but if someone just wants a gift certificate that price doesn't make sense. tomerg3 Posted August 13, 2014 Share Posted August 13, 2014 You can assign a specific carrier for a specific product (in the product editor shipping tab). This means you will need to create a new carrier with free shipping, and make sure it is assigned only to that product. I know this was a bit buggy in older versions on PS, hopefully it was fixed. If that doesn't work, you can always try a module like our Localized Shipping http://www.presto-changeo.com/en/shipping-modules/83-localized-shipping.html which lets you assign free shipping per product. My attempts to create a second carrier and put only that for the item doesn't seem to work.
