frank_jarle
Hi I am new to PrestaShop and e-commerce as well (first time i register here). I am facing the exactly same issue as well. I setup some new categories, products, have the top horizontal menu working as i want. But when i click on a link that leads to a page that contain newly created products. It does not show the Left Catalog filter for my page. I have looked all over the place myself, but it appears that i am "blind". I would also appreciate if someone could help on this one as well. (I looked through the PrestaShop 101 videos, but i did not see anything mention about this Left Catalog how to make it appear in new Category page that contain products) Frank
vekia
go to modules > positions search for "display Left Column" modules list click on edit button near block layered navigation module (on that list) you will see there "exceptions" section make sure that module hasn't got defined exceptions
frank_jarle
Thanks for the tips, but i do not see anything in the exception when i click on the edit button. This is the button i clicked on: And this is the list i get up, i dont see any exception here: This is the page where you can see the category on top: http://hitpointgamer.com/Beta_presta/index.php?id_category=9&controller=category And this is my new page where i do not see Category filter on top: http://hitpointgamer.com/Beta_presta/index.php?id_category=14&controller=category It is probably just a small thing that i do not see here. Hope you have some more input what i am doing wrong here. Thanks in advanced (Sorry, did not mean to hi-jack this thread, just thought since i have exactly same issue as topic starter) :-) Frank, Norway Edited August 13, 2014 by frank_jarle (see edit history)

frank_jarle
After much testing and testing and testing i fugured out how to fix this. 1) Navigate to Modules 2) Search for "blocklayered" 3) Click on Configure" 4) Edit the Filter Template 5) "Expand all" and select additional categories where you want the Category filter to show up 5) "Enable" additional Attributes if needed 6) Save And finaly reload the page it should not appear a Category Filter in the left I think this post can be "marked" as solved :-) Frank Edited August 17, 2014 by frank_jarle (see edit history)
