Multistore - Combinations - Duplicating Products Issue 1.5.2

Hi folks,

 

I have taken over a site that is running 1.5.2. I know i should upgrade to 1.6 but I cannot do that at this time.

 

For the moment, I have an issue

 

I am running multistore with different countries: UK, USA, Germany etc

 

Each product has different combinations based on country.

 

When I am in the BO and in say UK mode with the UK products listed, when I duplicate a product, all the combinations for all the stores appear on the duplicated product. 

 

Is there a way for when I duplicate a product in a specific store that only the combinations applicable to that store appear in the duplicated product?
