Roaringdragon
Hey, so I'm a complete beginner to prestashop, I saw the presta shop coding a theme page, but it didn't seem to help...I downloaded the default bootstrapper and now I want to create a theme...I want to know where the main file is where all the .tpl files are imported to create the site that you actually see...I want to customize my site so that there isn' the manufacturer or supplier tab. Thanks!
vekia
themes/default-bootstrap/ you can find all .tpl files there in addition, prestashop uses modules, and modules also have own tpl files.
Roaringdragon
vekia, Thanks, I was wondering which .Tpl file was the one where all of the modules and such come together to form the whole page that you see...or is there not one? EDIT: Like there's a .tpl for our stores, a .tpl for manufacturers, a .tpl for services, etc...is there a file where they all congregate to make the whole website Edited August 9, 2014 by Roaringdragon (see edit history)
Dh42
There is not, a page might be made up of 5 or so template files. Like a category page is made up of the category.tpl, product-list.tpl, header.tpl, footer.tpl, breadcrumbs.tpl, pagination.tpl, and one more I think. Roaringdragon
Ok, in that case, how would I remove the manufacturer and supplier tabs from the default bootstrapper?
Paulito
Hello I am sure I am barking up the wrong tree but if all you want to do is remove the "Manufacturers and Suppliers" blocks from your theme then just disable them in your back office. Back office > Modules > Front office features > scroll down to these modules > Disable http://screencast.com/t/40VOdlBMy5jd Paul
