Multiple options for a product

Hi,

 

I'm just starting out with Prestashop, so please excuse me if this is a very simple question.

 

I have a product which I wish to offer in multiple sizes (1,2,3,4....) how can I do this? I have a product configured but would now like to do this, each size would also carry a different cost.

Hello

 

What you need is Attributes and Values, so, lets say the "Attribute = Size" and the "Value = Small, medium and Large"

 

So, go to:

Back office > Catalog > Product attributes > Add new attribute

enter the name of your attribute in the fields (Size)

 

When you have done this:

click Add new value (which will be Small, Medium and Large)to the attribute you have just created (Size)

Thanks for the fast response, this is a great help!. I've followed that and now have a product with 2 attributes (its a start!) Which I can see on the product page using radio buttons. I've also added combinations -

when I select the 30 combination using the radio button I don't then see the value increase, even though I've set it to have an increase on the price. I must be missing something!

 

Thanks for the link also, I'm going to work my way through those videos. Prestashop looks great but its going to take some getting to grips with I think!

quick post back.... my fault the price wasn't updating when I change option. I had somehow managed to screw up the js. A fresh install of the theme has it sorted
