cht
I notice that, when search box is enabled in the top horizontal menu, the right side of the menu is no longer straight. Could you tell me if there is something I can do to fix this? Edited August 17, 2014 by cht (see edit history)

I don't know much about forums, any piece of advice will always be welcome. Unfortunately, I haven't uploaded the site yet. It seemed like a good idea until some minutes ago. Edit: Didn't thank you for replying, it worths an edit -at least until you give me those advice. cht
what theme you use? it's not default one, right? It's a custom one, created by copying the files from the default theme and making slight changes in the CSS files. I had switched back to default-bootstrap to see if it had something to do with the theme or not, same results. It seems that, at the very beginning and before I read about how overriding works, I had edited the CSS files of theme configurator. It turned out I had mysteriously set right border's color to some neutral one that was totally different from the color that I used for the background of the menu, and then just forgot about this. The color change appears at the top part of the right border only after the search box is enabled -that's why I thought it had something to do with that. I haven't really figured out why only the top part of the border is affected, but since I don't actually need it I'll just mark this thread as solved. Thank you for your reply.
