paypal advanced processing issue, no order generated

usgin PayPal USA, Canada v1.3.7 

 

paypal express and advanced selected.

only advanced payment processing has problem.

 

customer with paypal account, works without a problem.

 

*** problem : customer without paypal account, pays with his/her credit card.

even though the payment comes through, the order does not generate.

customer later notice that can call the store. then store manager processes manually from the abandoned cart(or not fulfilled cart).

 

only the incomplete cart remains. I have to generate from the cart to order from admin.

 

is there any solution to that?

am I missing in some setting?

I have the same problem, and it just started happening.

 

Please post if you find a solution!

still trying to see if there is any area that I made mistake in settings.

before Aug. 1, it was working fine.

I see the record of failures starting from Aug 1.

 

Paypal express is still working fine.

Only when customer enters credit card number at the last step.

no order record is generated...

 

no one else has this problem?

according to paypal customer support, in paypal Advanced, the redirect doesn't work, you should have different module to be able to accept payments with paypal Advanced...

 

currently, after customer enters credit card info and submit, screen goes blank and customer credit card is charged.

but no order data is generated in the shopping cart.

this only happens with Paypal Advanced ... if customer chooses paypal express, then it works fine as supposed to.

 

any one has similar issues?

We have seen several customers complain of the built in PrestaShop Paypal advanced module, and as far as we know they have not addressed any of the issues yet.

 

We can recommend our own module, which is more flexible, and also comes with our free support and 1 time free installation.

Just for information : I have downloaded and installed Paypal Europe instead of Paypal USA & Canada, and it works now!

 

 

I switched to PayPal Europe as well, and so far everything is working flawlessly!

 

using EU version when USA/MEX/CA (not well vice versa) worked for many.

 

Why splitting one PayPal into two: north america/ eu, is (above my pay 0.00 level) Seems like duplicate effort to keep them working properly and is confusing for anyone not in north america or 'eu'. who ask where is paypal for my country?

 

Personally at the end of the day, paid module like presto-changeo which won't automatically update and possibly break it, is worth saving your penny's for, just so you sleep better at night.
