How do I configure Prestashop for one product?

I have a site that has one product to sell. I would like to use Prestashop to do this.

 

How do I configure Prestashop to do this?

 

I will be linking to Prestashop for a html page

 

Can I set the home page of Prestashop to be the product details page of the product?

you can sell one product or 1000's, so that is not a problem.

I have installed Prestashop1.6.0.9 installed for testing?

 

What I am wondering is, do I add the product, link to it, and that's it?

 

The reason why I am asking is that if you click on home, you will go to the home of the cart and not the website.

 

Is it possible to configure Prestashop so that navigation to the home page of the cart goes to the hompage of the website? I'm just wanting visitors to only have access to the product details so they can buy it.

hi, just add the category/product/images etc.

 

then you will need to present front office content how you like, this may be the default theme or a custom theme.

 

but the front office content and presentation is really up to you.

 

for example you could use the main page slider, to place image of product that is click able.

I will take you advice and do this.

 

The reason why I wanted to do this is because I have noticed that some other carts seem to allow the product details page to be the home page so a visitor can't go anywhere else unless they use the back button.

it's all in the theme, and configuring of theme to suit your purposes.

 

we are also moving to a one product per domain/shop for some products.

 

why? because then we can put product at higher level of domain SEO, instead of selling multiple products with different attributes (seo descriptors) we want one site with SEO just for that product.

That is effectively what I am wanting to do.

 

I have a one off designed product with its own domain that I want to sell independantly of any other products, but as you can see I am needing help doing it, even though I have used Prestashop for websites with multiple products before.
