Add file for download

Solved: just added the file to my server and the url becomes yourdomain.com/file.txt when you add the file in the root folder of your application. Maybe helps someone in the future.

 

I need to add a file to my server and provide an url for download. First thing I thought of was to add it as an attachment to an invisible product but I will be updating this file and the url will not be permanent since I have to upload a new attachment each time I need to update the file.

 

Do prestashop have any kind of controller php file I can eddit to be able to download the file? Or any back office functionality that is designed for add files available for download?
