I am looking for a mode of payment where a customer can use Mobile money, like he selects mobile money as payment option, and he is given the phone number to transfer funds to. It is similar to bank wire, but the only difference is that instead of transferring to a bank, customer transfers to a mobile phone number given, and after transfer, key in the receipt code sent to him by the provider. Smarter Posted August 7, 2014 Author Share Posted August 7, 2014 There is such service for mobile e-wallets very commonly used in Africa. a subscriber wit a phone can deposit money in his phone and even transfer money to another subscriber. When you are subscribed, your can deposit, withdraw and transfer funds to another subscriber. This is used in purchases as well, as you can buy something from a shop, and instead of paying cash, you transfer funds to the shop using your phone, if you know just the number of the shop used for payment. After payment by transferring funds, the payer gets an sms with a receipt code for the transaction done. If i use that in an online shop, then the payer will enter this code as a confirmation for payment, and i will compare that code with the amount i received in my phone to validate the payment, similar to bank wire.
