I have problem with blank page on my prestashop

but again i have problem... Please help me. e commerce is LIVE....

I am clearing cache after every tpl/css change... I am using mozilla and using CTRL+R after every change... 

I see this problems on Chrome and Maxton ...

refreshing page as you know is not solution.

 

as for error logs, search using google or other search engine for your type of server software to determine where error logs are located.

please do not ask for 'anyone else' how annoying, you need to find error in your logs.  Please follow advice given and not look for answer that best suits you.

 

if you want to run a dedicated or any other hosting with a website, having basic skills to find error logs is required. 

 

the point of the post is to help you find issue of blank page, there is no miracle answers when you can not find error log which could most likely resolve your issue.

Same.. I think there is no problem with live filter...

Blank page happening only on frontpage presta. Backend works well!

that is a bit dated, 1.5.6.2 would be better release for you as it may very well fix your issue.

 

when I search I see 'similar' issues but that does not mean that it resolves this issue, for example:

yes upgrading can be very scary.

 

if you create a test shop of production and then test upgrades allows one to know what if any issues they may have.

this is not an upgrade, this is fix that is 'very' similar to your issue and fixed on later version of yours.

1. download (using ftp) classes/module/Module.php from your shop.

2. open with a file editor

3. save file 'as' classes/module/backup_Module.php  (back up the file)

4. now reopen classes/module/Module.php  you downloaded

5. go to this link:

6. on that page, click view

7. copy all the code

8. paste into the open file classes/module/Module.php and file it

9. now FTP classes/module/Module.php  to your remote classes/module/Module.php

 

in the end, you will find keeping current especially when loading current todays themes/modules is less trouble than this.

I second El Patron, moreover, if you always get a blank page it means there is a syntax error somewhere, so you should enable error reporting (see my signature)

So what to try now? I tried El Patron and i got blank page on homepage so i back up file.

No chance... How i can "reset" cache? I dont have blank pages when cache is checked "NO", But site is so slow... Maybe there is error in cache files, cos i updated 99999 tpl , php and css files in last 3 weeks

The only other thing I can think about is writing permissions. You can try emptying cache by going to advanced parameters/performance and click 'clear smarty cache'. Or do it manually by erasing the content of cache/smarty/compile  and cache/smarty/cache (keep index.php)

what you need to do, and always do, is when you get blank page or 500 error, is to get the underlying error.
